Civil Service Learning (CSL) provides learning and development for all civil servants. We work with experts in learning and development to create and provide a range of high-quality learning that supports and equips civil servants to deliver excellent public services.
CSL is part of the Cabinet Office.
Our curriculum offers a mix of different types of learning so that civil servants can learn in a way that works for them. For example, many topics have some preparation (such as reading), a face-to-face workshop and a practical activity (so that learners can apply what they’ve learnt back in the workplace).
To ensure all our new learning has the desired impact, it is piloted a number of time and measured against our quality standards, before we make it available to book.
If you’re a civil servant with a specific learning need and you can’t see a topic you need on offer, get in touch and we’ll work with you to source it.
What we offer
All our learning is available on the CSL website. Civil servants must register to access the learning.
Read our blogs on GOV.UK or follow CSL on Twitter @CSLGOVUK and on LinkedIn, where we share useful articles, blogs and free learning material.
